éS Team Report 04-30-08

Rick McCrank is currently up in Vancouver with Scuba and Atiba Jefferson, filming and shooting photos. Rick also just returned from Budapest, Hungary, where he is working on a new project.

Rodrigo Tx. is down under right now, on a skate trip with a new clothing sponsor that you should all know about soon. Rodrigo is still working on his Flip video part and getting ready to head out to Europe soon, as well.

Justin Eldridge has been skating and filming with Ty Evans for the upcoming Chocolate video. Justin is also heading out to Hawaii soon to celebrate his brother’s birthday.

Cale Nuske is back down under, shredding around the streets of Adelaide. He is getting ready to head out to Japan this month, as well. Look for Cale with our brand-new Screen shoe in all of the latest éS ads.

Speaking of Europe, a member of the Spanish Mafia, Javier Sarmiento, or Javi, as we like to call him, has been relaxing in the Basque country, awaiting warmer weather.

Nyjah Huston was in SoCal recently, checking in with all the homies and grabbing some shoes for himself and the family. Nyjah is currently in Barcelona, ripping up some marble.

Silas Baxter-Neal was also in SoCal for Earth Day, and he spent it at Active with the Elwood team.

Bobby Worrest has been back and forth between both coasts as of late. He has been collecting tattoos, as well. Every time we see him, he has a new one. Bobby also shaved his beard and clogged up Scuba’s sink. It took a lot of Draino to push that gnarly beard on down the pipe.

Danny Garcia has been working on shoe designs and skating around town. He has also been enjoying the NBA playoffs.

Raymond Molinar has been collecting every pack of Polaroid film he can find, since news broke that they will soon stop making it forever.

Mike Anderson was just in Arizona on a lil’ Matix skate trip. He has been holding down the streets of Los Angeles, skating and enjoying the stoop life while on semi-permanent housesitting duty for a family member.

Austyn Gillette has been putting the finishing touches on a New Jack interview for The Skateboard Mag, which should be out in the near future.

Kevin Terpening was recently out in Arizona with Scuba, Mike Anderson, Kevin Romar and Cale Nuske on a short filming trip, so look for a web clip to come soon. Speaking of Kevin, congrats to him for finally getting his driver’s license.

Checking in for the month of March. Rick McCrank just returned home to Vancouver from a month down under. He was on a Girl tour throughout Australia and skated the Slaughter of the Oprah in Sydney. Rick has been skating for éS for 10 years now! Happy anniversary, Rick, and many more!

Rodrigo Tx. is getting ready to head down to Mexico on a little skate trip with the homies. He has been busy finishing up his part for the Flip video, which should be out soon.

Justin Eldridge has been busy being a Lakers fan, and enjoying the games at his local Island’s restaurant. A little insider info: as a good luck charm, he drinks Newcastle for the home games and Heinekin for the away games. Justin has also been filming with Ty Evans for the upcoming Chocolate video.

Cale Nuske is staying on my couch since returning from the United Arab Emirates. He has been shredding all around SoCal, filming for the new Cliché video and shooting photos with Atiba Jefferson.

Javier Sarmiento has returned from the warm weather of Dubai to the snow in Spain. He has also been skating with his friends in the Grand Canaries.

Nyjah Huston is still out in Puerto Rico, and will return to California soon to skate and visit all of us.

Silas Baxter-Neal is on a well-deserved vacation down in Costa Rica, enjoying some time with the family.

Bobby Worrest is getting ready to head over to Florida for Tampa Pro, then out to San Francisco and Los Angeles to skate, film and shoot photos.

Danny Garcia has been staying busy. He spent a weekend with Cale and Scuba, skating all around Los Angeles and shooting photos with Atiba.

Raymond Molinar just returned from a cross-country skate trip, and is enjoying the beautiful weather down in Long Beach, skating and playing the guitar.

Be sure to get your free copy of TréS Amigos (with the purchase of any pair of shoes from éS + Habitat Collection) and scope all the latest footy of Silas, Raymond and Danny.

Look out for lots of coverage of flow rider Mike Anderson coming out soon, including his three-page Matix ad.

Rick McCrank is gonna be heading down under soon with Girl for the Globe World Cup, as well as a Girl tour!

Rodrigo Tx. is down in Sao Paulo, Brazil, hanging with his family and finishing up his part in the next Flip video. He will be out in good ol’ Los Angeles shortly.

Justin Eldridge is in China right now with Chocolate. Check Crailtap for updates from Justin and the Chocolate team from the road.

Cale Nuske is getting ready to endure a plane half way around the world to come and skate in Los Angeles with Scuba. Look out for Cale’s part in the new Cliché Déjà Vu video.

Javier Sarmiento is enjoying the “mad hi-tech gadgets” he requested in his éS shoes. Javi has been skating with his friends in a Spanish warehouse to avoid the harsh Basque winters.

Nyjah Huston is down in beautiful Puerto Rico with the family, and will be heading out to the West Coast sooner rather than later.

Silas Baxter-Neal is filming with Adam Crew for the newest Toebock endeavor, which should be coming out soon.

Since he recently turned pro, Bobby Worrest felt it was the perfect time to attend his first Tampa Am contest. He didn’t even make it past the qualifiers. Sorry, Bob. But, as we recently reported, he did make a comeback when he won second place in Lord of the Lines a minute later.

Along with Silas and Rayloco, Danny Garcia has been busy finishing up TréS Amigos , which is a new free éS DVD available with the purchase of any of the shoes from the éS + Habitat Collection.

Raymond Molinar is on a cross-country trip with his lady, taking some time off of his hectic skateboarding schedule. Raymond also filmed for TréS Amigos for a few days in San Francisco with Scuba, Mike Manzoori, Atiba Jefferson and Kevin Terpening.

éS flow rider Mike Anderson’s 411 part came out. He wanted a song to go along with it instead of his own phone conversation, in case you were wondering.

éS flow rider Austyn Gillette hasn’t finished writing any novels this month. We’re gonna have to tell his teacher!

éS Team Report 01-08-08

Happy New Year! Just checking in with a lil’ update on what the éS team has been up to over the last couple of weeks.

Rick McCrank is currently up in Vancouver, enjoying time with his daughter, as well as skating between rainstorms. When it does rain, Rick stays busy with music and skating the Anti-Social mega ramp. Just kidding, it’s a mini.

Rodrigo Tx. is currently in Sao Paulo, Brazil after a two-week skate trip in Argentina with the Flip team, finishing up his part for their upcoming vid.

Justin Eldridge and Danny Garcia were out in Tempe, Arizona along with éS flow riders Mike Barker, Austyn Gillette, Kelly Hart, Mike Anderson and Kevin Terpening, to do some filming and skate the Tempe park. Upon Justin’s return to California, he picked up a guitar and has been learning some new licks, as well as frequenting Noah’s Bagels in Valencia for a double toasted everything bagel with onions, tomatoes, cream cheese and pepper.

Cale Nuske is still in Adelaide, Australia working on his part for the new Cliché video. He is also getting ready for a root canal soon. How fun! If you see Cale, tell him to stop eating so much candy.

Javier Sarmiento has been hanging out up in the Basque country of Spain. He has also been busy with his garden of cacahuates (peanuts), which he’s been paying special attention to in the winter months to make sure he has a plentiful harvest for the upcoming 2008 baseball season.

Nyjah Huston is in beautiful Puerto Rico with the family, skating and enjoying the island culture. Nyjah will be returning to the mainland shortly to go shoot some photos and film in California.

Silas Baxter-Neal has been floating around the Bay Area, skating and filming. He was down in SoCal for a week, as well, filming with Mike Manzoori. Silas will be finishing up his Toebock part in the next month.

Bobby Worrest has been working on his tattoo collection. There were rumors floating around that he might get a tribal face tattoo, but thankfully, that turned out to be false. Besides frequenting the tat shop, he has been skating in the bitter cold of DC and preparing for a month-long stay in Cali, which is coming soon! Look out for Bobby in the new 411, as well.

Danny Garcia was in Hawaii with Quiksilver, enjoying the North Shore of Oahu. Can you say lifestyle? He has also been out and about filming and skating in Los Angeles.

Raymond Molinar has been back and forth between San Francisco and Long Beach, filming and shooting Polaroid pics for his Flickr page. Ray has also been collecting stamps.

Look out for éS flow rider Mike Anderson’s part in the new issue of 411 and Austyn Gillette’s new novel called Hamlet. I’ll bet you didn’t know he is a writer!

éS Team Report 11-28-07

We hope all of you had a good Thanksgiving and were fortunate enough to spend it with your families and friends. We would also like to offer our condolences to all victims of the fires that ravaged through Southern California in the past month.

Rock McSprickles, known to some as Rick McCrank, is in California right now, skating with his friends, Corey, John Rattray and Keegan Sauder. The crew has been traveling all over, camping and skating from San Francisco to San Diego.

Rodrigo Tx. is staying busy in SoCal, finishing up his part for the new Flip vid, which will be out early next year. Tx. is gonna be heading back to Brazil soon to escape the harsh SoCal winters and spend the holidays with his family. A Mulek!

Justin Eldridge is back in Hawaii on vacation. Look out for him moped-ing around Oahu or swimming in Huanama Bay with the pigeons. Justin, if you’re reading this, come back!

Cale Nuske has been holding it up down under. He was recently on a Slam trip to Canberra, shooting photos and gathering some footage. Cale is starting to film a full part for the next Cliché video.

Javier Sarmiento returned home from Japan on a Volcom trip and is now in Spain, getting ready to head out to California to skate and film in December.

Nyjah Huston is in Puerto Rico with the family. They have been traveling the island looking for new skate spots and enjoying the warm weather and good vibes.

Bobby Worrest checked in from the nation’s capital the other day to tell us that all is well there and he is shooting lots of photos with Rodent. Look for an upcoming interview in the near future. Bobby has also collected a half-dozen new tattoos since the last team peport. Uh-oh.

Silas Baxter-Neal isn’t slowing down after a phenomenal part in the Habitat video. He is on the newest cover of TransWorld with other coverage coming out soon, as well. Silas did take a well-deserved camping trip with some friends up in the redwood forests of Northern California.

Danny Garcia has been cruising around the OC. On the side, he has been playing a lot of music and frequenting Cheesecake Factory for his favorite dish, miso salmon. Danny has also picked up a new clothing sponsor, Quiksilver. Congrats, Danny!

Raymond Molinar, aka The Locs, has been holding it down in Long Beach. He just returned from a Midwest trip and stopped off at Make-a-Wish in Texas. The Locs is also gonna head to Arizona to skate and flim sometime soon.

éS flow rider Mike Anderson just returned from a Matix trip in Spain. Check out Mike in the new Krooked Gnaughty video. Kelly Hart just got back from China on a LRG trip, so look for an article of that coming out soon. Also check out Austyn Gillette’s part in Inhabitants. It’s really nice, as are Danny’s, Ray’s, and Silas’ parts. Good job, guys.

Stay tuned at éS Website!

As usual, it’s been a minute since our last Team Report. It has been super windy out here in SoCal for the last couple of weeks, and also very smoky. Things are hopefully starting to mellow out, though!

Last week, most of the éS team was out at Active Chino to watch éSpecial with the kids and sign autographs and throw out product.

Let’s start with Rick McCrank. He was down in Los Angeles for a couple of weeks, skating GvR and the Downtown Showdown. Rick did very well at both contests, receiving the MVP award at GvR and Top Pro at the Downtown Showdown. Congrats, Rick, and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather up in Vancouver!

Rodrigo Tx. stopped by the éS offices yesterday to say hello. He has been skating around SoCal and filming for the upcoming Flip video.

Justin Eldridge has been skating a ton lately. He has a new ledge up in his hometown of Santa Clarita that he put metal coping on. Justin is so proud of his work. If you’re up there, stop by for a quick back tail–he will more than likely be around.

Cale Nuske has returned down under. He was in Los Angeles for a month and went home to celebrate his 22nd birthday. Cale is planning to head out to Europe in a lil’ bit to get started on a new Cliche part.

Javier Sarmiento was recently in Tokyo for a Volcom store opening. Now he is in Spain playing flamenco guitar and skating marble plazas.

Nyjah Huston is back in Puerto Rico with his family and friends. He has been back and forth between there and SoCal a bunch in the last couple months, skating contests and shooting and filming photos.

Silas Baxter-Neal is with Danny Garcia and Raymond Molinar on a Habitat demo and signing trip in the Western United States. Keep a lookout for them if they’re in your area. Also, if you live in the Inland Empire, go to Liberty Boardshop or Active in Rancho Cucamonga to check out Inhabitants!

Bobby Worrest also spent a couple of quality weeks in Los Angeles with an impromptu day trip to San Francisco to get some Spitfires and a tattoo. So, at Bobby's request, a convertible PT Cruiser was rented for the day. He is now back in DC with his pow-wow.

Danny Garcia recently celebrated his 28th birthday, as well. Tell him happy b-day when you see him.

Check out éS flow rider Mike Anderson in the “Matix Ams Going Green” tour article in issue 45 of The Skateboard Mag. He has some nice stuff in there. Keep an eye out our for fellow éS flow rider Luan de Oliveira, as well. He has been shredding all over Southern California the last couple of months.

eS Team Report 09-24-07

It’s been a while since the last Team Report. That’s because the guys have been super busy.

Cale Nuske has been in town for the month of September. He’s been keeping busy skating around Los Angeles area skateparks and rehabbing his knee, getting back into skate mode.

Javier Sarmiento was also out in Orange County for the last couple of weeks enjoying the beautiful sand of Newport Beach. He placed fourth in the éS Game of SKATE Championships. Javi is gonna be in Japan next week for a Volcom store opening.

Bobby Worrest is currently down in the ATL, skating and shooting photos for an upcoming interview. He can’t be stopped. Bobby’s beard is also starting to fill in nicely, as well. Look out for his next part in Krooked’s upcoming video, Gnaughty.

Justin Eldridge has been keeping himself busy, as well, skating the flatbar at the Santa Clarita skatepark. He is also drinking super-healthy water that goes through a 13 day de-ionization and osmosis process. We can’t wait to see the results.

Danny Garcia has been skating around trying to get some last-minute tricks for the upcoming Habitat Inhabitants video. It’s crunch time for him and the rest of the Habitat dudes.

Speaking of Habitat, Silas Baxter-Neal and Raymond Molinar are on the last-minute tip, as well. We’ve been hearing that a lot of crazy tricks are going down. Inhabitants should be out sometime early November.

The éS Habitat trio will be joining the rest of the Habitat team for a video hype tour up the West Coast in late October, as well.

Congrats to Nyjah Huston, who placed second at the éS Game of SKATE Championships. Nyjah is down in Puerto Rico, getting ready to head out to Orange County for GvR.

Rick McCrank is also going to head down south for GvR. He has been skating around Vancouver and whizzing around on his vintage motorbikes.

Rodrigo Tx. is finally back in Costa Mesa after months of traveling the globe between Europe and South America. He is currently working on his part for the upcoming Flip video.

P.J. Ladd is also traveling around. Last we heard, he was out in Spain enjoying the wonderful skate spots and equally amazing culture.

éS flow rider Mike Anderson has been killing it. He is gonna be in the new Krooked Gnaughty video along with Bobby and the rest of the Krooked crew. Speaking of Mikes, Mike Barker has been keeping it busy skating around Los Angeles and gathering lots of wonderful new footage. OC’s most wanted am, Kelly Hart, has been on a lil’ run as of late, too, killing every bit of flatground put in from of him.

Look out for our new éSpecial full-length promo DVD in shops really soon!

eS Team Report  08-13-07
from eS Blog

Hey guys, it’s been a while since eS has posted a full Team Report. As usual, the guys have been very busy–in fact, so busy it’s hard to keep tabs on where everyone is.

Let’s start with Bobby Worrest. He was in Europe with us last month and returned home to move houses. Bobby has been spotted cruising his moped around the District lately. He is currently in Hawaii, with plans to return to SoCal, then hit up Phoenix for an Industrial Boardshop signing.

Raymond Molinar will also join Bobby, Danny Garcia and Justin Eldridge in Phoenix. Raymond was recently on a RVCA trip across the Southwest United States. Loco has been keeping it busy on the streets, with plans to relocate himself, as well. Last we heard, he was moving down South to Long Beach.

Fellow éS and Habitat rider Danny Garica has been on the ball back in SoCal. Danny is busy filming away for the upcoming éS and Habitat videos.

While we are on the moving subject, congrats to Silas Baxter-Neal, who not only recently moved to a Bay Area suburb, but has also been announced as Habitat’s newest pro come September! Good job, Silas! All your hard work has paid off. Silas is on a Habitat filming mission on the East Coast, and the last we heard, things were going good, really good.

Nyjah Huston has been all over the place lately, as well. He has been back and fourth between Puerto Rico and SoCal, as well as skating the X Games. Nyjah is currently on an Element trip in the Southeast United States. He has been killing it lately! We can’t wait to see what he’s got for the éS video coming out in September.

Javier Sarmiento is laying low, traveling between Barcelona and Victoria, Spain. The last I heard, he hitch-hiked his way to Barcelona with a truck driver. When we get more details on that story, we’ll fill you in.

Cale Nuske is still at home in Adelaide, Australia and is coming out to California in early September for a month of skating. Cale has been plagued with knee injuries for the past couple of years, and is just about ready to start ripping again. We are all excited to see him back on the board, so look out for Cale in the future.

Justin Eldridge has been keeping it busy–but not too busy. He was in Europe with us and returned home for a few days. Justin insisted on going to Hawaii early, so I sent him four days early and he patiently awaited all of our arrivals in Honolulu.

P.J. Ladd has been skating around Los Angeles, as well as hitting up Canada for a few Plan B demos. Check their site to see P.J. skating!

Rodrigo Tx. has been a world traveler lately, as well. He has been all over Europe and is currently in Barcelona filming for the Flip video. Rodigo is gonna head out to Brazil for a little bit, then he should be back in the States for ASR and a little skating in September.

Last but not least is Rick McCrank, who was on the road for a solid month. He hit up Europe with us on the éS a la Carte Tour, then he was in New York for a week before returning to SoCal to skate for a few days and compete in the X Games. Rick is finally back up in Vancouver, skating and hanging out with his daughter and friends.

Rick McCrank is up in Vancouver, skating and filming with Mike Manzoori. Rick and Mike will be meeting up with us on the éS 757 Tour this coming week. Rick’s daughter also celebrated a birthday last week!

Rodrigo Tx. is back in the States after a busy few months shuttling back and forth between Brazil, Spain, China, Brazil and Spain. Well, Tx. is gonna be around here for a month or so, skating and autographing around the country before he heads back to Barcelona.

Justin Eldridge just got back from the Eur’ OK We’re OK Tour and went straight into skating with Atiba Jefferson to shoot photos for an upcoming piece in The Skateboard Mag. Justin also stopped by the éS offices the other day for a free lunch at Inka Mama’s and to work on some upcoming Theory colorways.

Cale Nuske called the other night, and his knee is doing better than ever. He said he was playing basketball a few days ago, dunked the ball and took the rim down with him. We are still waiting for photo confirmation of this event.

So, guys, guess where Bobby Worrest is right now? All right, don’t guess. I’ll just tell you. He called me the other day to ask permission to go to Ireland. Bobby said the Gonz had his back on a ticket. I agreed to let him go as long as he makes it back by June 8 to meet us in New York for our 757 Tour.

Nyjah Huston is back in Puerto Rico for a couple of weeks to rest a little before he joins Element on a premiere tour for their new video that is coming out really soon! Congrats on all the hard work, Ny!

Silas Baxter-Neal is over in Spain right now, filming for Inhabitants. Check him out on the Habitat Field Log to see some footy of him skating around Barcelona.

Danny Garcia is out in New York right now, waiting patiently for us to arrive and join him on the 757 Tour. Danny has been keeping busy lately skating the Liberty Ramp and joined us at an Active demo / signing this past weekend in Riverside.

Raymond Molinar has been skating a bunch around Los Angeles. In fact, he smacked the lens off my camera the other day. So, now I won’t skate with him anymore, at least for a little bit. If you see Raymond around, wish him happy birthday on June 9!

In éS Flow World, Jose Rojo was down in SoCal last week skating with Raymond and filming. Mike Barker and Kelly Hart are gonna be joining us on the 757 Tour, as well. Mike and Justin Schulte will both have footage in the Element video also.

Justin Eldridge just returned from a mini-vacation to Hawaii. Lucky! He has been up to his usual self, skating and filming in Los Angeles. Look for Justin in Europe throughout May on a Girl / Chocolate tour along with fellow éS team rider Rick McCrank. Speaking of Rick, he is heading down to éS headquarters this weekend to skate a little and work on some new colorways of the Norton.

Rodrigo Tx. is back at his second home, Barcelona, where he is living the good life, skating, filming and shooting photos with Oliver Bartok. Rodrigo was in California for a week or so and, like Rick, also worked on some new colorways of his upcoming éS shoe, the Cassette.

P.J. Ladd has been spotted skating around Los Angeles doing his thing, which is skating and filming.

Cale Nuske is still hanging out down under. He rang up the éS offices yesterday to tell us how much he misses California and can’t wait to get back here. Hopefully, he will arrive in late June.

Javier Sarmiento has migrated a little further South in Spain to Barcelona to meet up with fellow éS team rider and switch hardflip master, Rodrigo Tx. The two are enjoying hot nights at Manolo and skating all day. Barcelona is great!

Nyjah Huston is finally back home up in the Davis, California area after traveling between Puerto Rico, SoCal and NorCal for the past few months. Ny has been getting lots of footage and photos with Atiba Jefferson. We can’t wait to see what he’s been doing!

Props to Silas Baxter-Neal, who has a short part in Krux’s new Feelin’ It video. Silas has been up in the San Jose area, holding it down at the Sunnyvale skatepark and taking leisurely walks with his new dog, Kip.

Bobby Worrest has been in town for the past month or so, keeping Scuba really busy. He has been shooting photos and breaking dishes over at Scuba’s house. Bobby and Scuba just returned from a trip to San Jose and San Francisco, where they skated with Silas, éS flow rider Jose Rojo and Slap photographer Joe Brook. Lots of late night skate missions, burritos and comedy went down up in the Bay Area. Thanks to Joe for showing us tons of good spots and taking us around for the last week. Look out for the Steady Eatin’ Crew promo, which is coming out soon.

Danny Garcia and Raymond Molinar have been holding it down in the Orange Curtain, skating the Liberty Ramp and working on their upcoming Habitat video parts. While he was driving recently, Raymond’s back windshield shattered for no apparent reason. Either someone is trying to kill him, or a rock hit his window. You decide.

Congratulations to Rick McCrank for placing fifth at Tampa Pro last weekend. When Rick’s not killing the contests, he’s been spending time surfing at Vancouver Island. All we have to say to that is, “Get barreled, bro! Surf water, not the Web!” Be sure to check out Rick’s pivot to fakie in issue 36 of The Skateboard Mag and his two-page Matix ad in issue 38.

Rodrigo Tx. has been very busy filming for the upcoming éS and Flip videos. He recently stopped by the éS offices to grab some kicks before he heads back to Spain, where the pain falls mainly on the sprain!

P.J. Ladd was in San Francisco last week to help raise money for fellow Plan B team rider Pat Duffy, who is facing some whopping medical expenses after slamming big-time on the Mega Ramp. Be sure to peep P.J. in a Fourstar ad in the February 2007 issue of Thrasher and his Venture limited-edition pro truck ad in the April 2007 issue of that mag.

Justin Eldridge and his entourage have been holding it down in Santa Clarita, skating all throughout the 661. If you see Justin, ask him if you can join in the bi-weekly games of spin-the-bottle going down in his living room! If you can’t make it, don’t worry, you can always swoon over his Chocolate ad in the April 2007 issue of Thrasher.

Nyjah Huston is now back home in Davis, California after a couple of weeks of destruction in SoCal. This hardworking little man is about to head down to Puerto Rico again to film and relax. For recent coverage, check Ny’s kick back lip in the GvR article in issue 36 of The Skateboard Mag, the backside ollie big spin out in the “Land of Confusion” Element Puerto Rico tour article in the April 2007 issue of TransWorld, and the front board kickflip out in the May 2007 issue of that mag.

Bobby E. Worrest has been keeping it real lately out on the East Coast, skating with éS flow rider Jimmy McDonald. Bobby is getting ready to head out West for a couple of weeks of thrills and excitement. Be on the lookout for him at your local In-N-Out Burger, cuz you know Bobby’s always got that In-N-Out urge!

Silas Baxter-Neal was in Los Angeles last week filming for the éS video and enjoying some well-deserved time off golfing with Atiba Jefferson. Fore! He also just planted a garden consisting of basil, broccoli, carrots, rosemary, sage and strawberries. Check out that sweet lien to tail from Silas in the Foto section of the February 2007 issue of Slap.

Danny Garcia has been laying low in the OC, recovering from a complimentary hipper he received from some mean old ground last weekend. He recently stopped by our offices to get a haircut from éS Team Assistant, Erin. Looks like her job description is really expanding.

Raymond Molinar, known to many as The Loco, has been killin’ the game! He’s been a busy man as of late, skating, taking tons of Polaroids, playing his new guitar and just trying to get by.

Justin Eldridge, Silas Baxter-Neal, Bobby Worrest, Danny Garcia and Raymond Molinar just got back from a filming trip throughout Texas. The first stop was Houston, the fourth biggest city in America. Things went well in H-town, though it was unseasonably cold for this time of the year. We then moved along to the capital of Texas, Austin, where we were greeted with cold again.

We skated some ditches and other interesting spots throughout Austin then headed further south to visit the Alamo. Remember the Alamo? We do now. The weather seemed to warm up a bit and so did the skating. San Antonio was a bit rough to skate, but the guys managed to get through it and skate every day and night regardless. Special thanks to Tech Gnar skate shop, Carter in Austin, Joe Castrucci, Guru Khalsa, and Zach and John in San Antonio for showing us around. Keep on the lookout for some leftover footage from this trip to hit the Web soon!

Rick McCrank is still down under, filming for YéS! with Jon Miner. The last we heard, Rick has been bagging some amazing footy on his life-sized Tech Deck (also known as a skateboard).

Rodrigo Tx. is in the midst of traveling. He was in Barcelona for a while and is currently back in Brazil, getting ready to come terrorize the States!

P.J. Ladd has been keeping it top secret, shooting for the upcoming éS video with his personal filmer.
Justin Eldridge has been busy filming, too. He got a lot of footage in Texas, and has a few things up his sleeve to handle in Los Angeles. All you LA heads better keep on the lookout for Justin bustin’ at a spot near you!

Cale Nuske is still in Australia conditioning his knee so he can finish his part for the upcoming éS video. He has been recovering very fast and can’t wait to get back on that board.

Javier Sarmiento is still chillin’ in Spain, where the rain falls mainly on the plain. He has been filming and shooting photos for some upcoming interviews.

Our little workhorse Nyjah Huston stopped by the éS offices recently to bag up some gear before heading to Los Angeles to do a little skating. Now he’s back up in NorCal enjoying some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Bobby Worrest recently flagged down a Girl Scout van to get his fix of Samoas, which are his favorite cookies. Besides that, he just headed up to San Francisco to work on his tattoos and get his skate on.

Silas Baxter-Neal got some amazing footage during our Texas trip and is now back in the San Jose area, skating the Sunnyvale skatepark and working on an interview for TransWorld Skateboarding.

Danny Garcia has been staying busy and trying not lose his mind as he continues to whittle away at two video parts simultaneously. Danny also finished recording his album, which will hopefully be available in the iTunes store soon!

Raymond Molinar just purchased a new axe. I saw a photo, and it looks pretty sweet. Tune in to the next Team Report to find out if it’s an actual axe, or a fancy guitar. He has also been shredding on his skateboard, as well. The next time you guys see Raymond, tell him where he can get a good bowl of pho, because he will really appreciate it. No, pho is not another name for marijuana, it’s a Vietnamese noodle soup.

As for the flow guys, Kelly Hart was recently in Arizona with the Expedition team and is now comfortable at home in Laguna. Mike Barker has been enjoying spending time in Los Angeles, skating around downtown and filming for the Element video.

Good ol’ Rick McCrank is heading down to Australia soon to skate in the World Cup contest and film with Jon Miner for the upcoming éS video. Please join us as we all stand arm-in-arm in a gigantic half-circle and scream, “YéS!”
Rodrigo Tx. is currently in Brazil visiting his family. Soon, he will head out to Spain to hook up with fellow éS team rider Javier Sarmiento to film and live the good life in Barcelona. No complaints there, I’m sure.
As always, P.J. Ladd has been keeping himself busy by finding new spots in the greater Los Angeles area and continuing to bag footage for the éS video. P.J. even hired his very own personal filmer. Now, that’s dedication!
Like P.J., Justin Eldridge is also very busy filming. Rumor has it he might have a broken wrist, though. Kids, send all your get well cards to…nevermind, I don’t think Justin would appreciate me giving away his address.
Cale Nuske called last week and said all is well down in Oz and that he misses Chipotle. No, Chipotle is not a girl. It’s a chain of Mexican restaurants here in the U.S. Seems that Cale really loves salsa, and they don’t have much Mexican food down in Adelaide.
Lil’ Nyjah Huston has been killin’ it. He just had an amazing interview The Skateboard Mag, and we can’t wait to see what kinda of footage he has been piling up for YéS!
Silas Baxter-Neal just scored a big Skateboarder interview and is filming away for the éS and Habitat videos.
Robert W. Worrest, better known as Bobby, has been shredding the cold streets of DC lately, and is heading out West shortly to film for the forthcoming YéS! video. If you haven’t already, peep his part in the new Krooked epic. It’s totally gnar-gnar!
Danny Garcia has been busy, as well. He was recently spotted down in Mexico City filming for the Habitat video and trying to learn Spanish. Danny is getting ready to record his debut album for Ship, Captain, Crew, which should hit the shelves sometime in the near future–perfect timing to accompany his first-ever éS pro shoe!
Speaking of the Habitat video, Raymond Molinar has been very busy lately, but not just skating. He is turning into quite the Polaroid connie sewer. Peep some of his work, and once again, congratulations to Raymond for turning pro!
Did any of you guys see éS flow rider Justin Schulte’s part in Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood? Well, if you didn’t, you should, because he kills it. Speaking of flow guys, Jeff Meicut has a sick interview in the newest issue of The Skateboard Mag. Good job, both of you!

Today, December 15, all you SoCal éS fans better join team riders Rick McCrank, Justin Eldridge and Danny Garcia at the annual Skatepark of Lake Forest Holiday Festival, when we will give out 500 pairs of free shoes to underprivileged kids from the Orange County, California area. Note: You don’t get free shoes, just those kids do.

Rick McCrank and Silas Baxter-Neal have been in town for the last week, hitting up spots with Danny Garcia and Raymond Molinar. Silas was just skating, and Rick did an éS ad photo shoot. Check Raymond’s Habitat ad in the January 2007 issue of TransWorld Skateboarding and Danny’s shots in the “Therapuetic Purposes” article in issue 34 of The Skateboard Mag.

Rodrigo Tx. has been hitting up the Volcom park lately with some homies from Brazil. P.J. Ladd recently participated in a group photo shoot with a bunch of other pros for an upcoming industry ad campaign that will encourage kids to buy pro model skateboard decks instead of blanks. Cale Nuske is resting his knee back home down under. Bobby Worrest has been spending some time back East, trying to find a warm, indoor skate spot.
Javier Sarmiento just wrapped up an interview for Slap. Keep your eyes open for that when it drops sometime soon. Also, check out his Utility Board Supply ad in the December 2006 issue of that mag.
As we mentioned recently, Nyjah Huston celebrated his birthday on November 30 with his family. The little man is now 12 years old. Wow! He’s so young, but freaking good. He also won an Action Sports Rookie of the Year award from Fuel TV and, ironically, Arby’s.

éS Team Report 11-20-2006

It’s been a while since éS last Team Report, so they figured it was about high time they got you guys caught up on a lil’ éS news.

Rick McCrank is up in Vancouver, trying to keep warm now that it’s turned a bit nippy. Go buy a pair of his éS Anti-Social shoes right now. Not only are they perfect for skating, they’ll keep your feet nice and cozy!

For the past couple of weeks, Rodrigo Tx. has been on the Feast South East Tour. Check out their site for a lot more info, photos and video clips.

Now that the weather has cooled down a bit in Arizona, éS filmer Scuba Steve decided to round up a nice little crew of homies–including éS team riders Cale Nuske and Danny Garcia, plus friends Mike Taylor and Giovanni Reda–for a little road trip filmin’. I’m sure there wasn’t a dull moment with Reda around.

They returned just in time for Bling Fest, where Cale, Justin Eldridge and Raymond Molinar signed some autographs at the éS booth. P.J. Ladd also showed up for a hot minute before heading out to go skate.

After the GvR contest back in October, Javier Sarmiento spent a month soaking up some sunshine and getting his skate on here in Cali, but now he has vanished like a puff of smoke back home to Vittoria, Spain.

Nyjah Huston and his family are kicking back down in San Juan, Puerto Rico, enjoying a little time off for vacation. Hmm, I thought that when you live in an RV, every day is a vacation. Just kidding, guys.

Silas Baxter-Neal is taking care of business up in Portland.

After spending the past month out here in Cali, Bobby Worrest is now back East shooting for the next éS and Krooked videos. Speaking of vids, don’t miss his full part in Get Familiar, which just came out. Look for a 10-page article about it called “All or Nothing” in the January 2007 issue of TransWorld Skateboarding.

Well, most of the éS guys were recently spotted on the road, doing some exploring and filming on the West Coast. Justin Eldrige, Cale Nuske, Javier Sarmiento, our very own little powerhouse Nyjah Huston, Silas Baxter-Neal, Danny Garcia, flow riders Mike Barker and Kelly Hart and one mystery guest have been shredding small California cities like Fresno, Sacramento, Sonora and Chico–followed by a slightly larger hamlet called San Francisco–to film for the ever-looming éS video.
Bobby Worrest couldn’t make it due to the flu, or was it really because he had to stay at home to guard his ice cream stash? Rumor has it that his roommates have been stealing his ice cream, so Bobby was forced to buy a mini-fridge for his room. Hopefully, he will follow that up with a mini-ramp in the backyard. In magazine land, Bobby recently scored a one-page mini-interview in the December issue of Skateboarder and a backside tailslide shove-it in the Crops photo gallery in issue 32 of The Skateboard Mag.
In other news, Rick McCrank is stuck in Vancouver due to some visa problems, but he will be visiting the States very soon. Until then, check out his Matix ad in the October issue of Slap.
Rodrigo Tx. has just arrived in the States and will attend GvR this coming weekend with the rest of the crew. If you can’t wait until then to see Rod, check out his pivot kickflip in the December issue of TransWorld Skateboarding and fakie heel flip in the Crops photo gallery in issue 32 of The Skateboard Mag.
P.J. Ladd has been up in Los Angeles, doing what he does best: skateboarding! For proof, check out his switch flip shifty in the Plan B Vancouver Campout article in the October issue of Thrasher.
The pride of Spain, Javier Sarmiento, got a Ricta ad in the November issue of Thrasher, and NorCal’s rising son, Nyjah Huston, landed a one-page Firing Line interview in the October issue.
Silas Baxter-Neal has been stacking up a lot of coverage lately, too, with a Planet Earth ad in all the mags, an Either / Or article in the November issue of Skateboarder, two big pics in a Habitat tour article in the October issue of Slap, and a kickflip backside Smith in a Habitat ad in the October issue of TransWorld Skateboarding.
Danny Garcia is no stranger to the coverage meter, either, as he recently appeared as a Guest Reviewer of a CD in the October issue of TransWorld Skateboarding and shredded it up in a Habitat ad in issue 32 of The Skateboard Mag. And don’t miss éS Canada rider Jordan Hoffart’s four-page interview in the November issue of Thrasher for some Great White North love.
Last but not least, big-ups to éS flow riders Jimmy MacDonald and Morgan Smith. Jimmy just recently won the King of New York contest, and Morgan landed himself in 10th place at the West 49 contest up in Toronto. Way to go, dudes.

Is this really the éS team, or just a bunch of hippies? The world may never know.

Rick McCrank is currently on the Matix Grateful Shred Tour with new éS team rider Danny Garcia and the rest of the Matix guys. This coming Wednesday, September 20, they’ll be doing a demo at Vancouver Skate Plaza, followed by another on Sunday, September 24 at the Millenium Skatepark in Calgary.

éS Footwear would like to wish team rider Rodrigo Tx. a happy birthday, which was actually this past weekend. After spending a few days here in California to enter the éS Game of SKATE Finals and visit our offices to work on shoe and apparel designs, Rodrigo headed back home to Brazil to celebrate his birthday with his family.

P.J. Ladd is currently up in Los Angeles, patiently waiting by his mailbox to receive an advance copy of a video game called Skate that he will star in with Danny Way and some other top pros. More on that as the story develops.

Justin Eldridge has been skating with his friends up in Valencia, California. Rumors are flying that he may appear in an upcoming Cadillac commerical.

Like Rodrigo and Javier, Cale Nuske is also keeping it United (States, that is). He’s expected to land on U.S. soil on October 2 to go on an éS filming trip. More on that later.

Nyjah Huston has been helping the Element crew bring down the biggies in one of his favorite places in the world, Puerto Rico. Speaking of Element, we’d like to congratulate éS flow rider Mike Barker for making the Element am team.

Silas Baxter-Neal is skating and hanging out with his girlfriend in Japan.

Mr. Bobby Worrest is out in North Carolina with Chris Hall and friends filming for Chris’ Get Familiar video.

eS Team Report 08-09-06

Well, it’s pretty damned hot these days, and the guys are out there getting as much done as they can, regardless of the heat wave.

As he recently returned from Scotland, Rick McCrank just barely missed the chance to show off his formidable life-size Tech Decking skills to the world at X Games 12. Now he is on the Girl vs. Chocolate Badass Meets Dumbass tour. Look for him at a stop near you.

Rodrigo Tx. is still in Spain, skating around with éS teammate and longtime friend Javier Sarmiento and freshening up his Spanish–not that he needs to, because he speaks it perfectly.

P.J. Ladd was spotted spectating at the X Games 12 Skateboard Street event last Friday. Lately, he has been skating all around Los Angeles with Pat Duffy in the wee hours of the morning.

Speaking of Chocolate, Justin Eldridge has been on the Badass Meets Dumbass tour for the last few weeks, and rumor has it he might have broken his arm. But, he is doing well and is still trucking right along.

Cale Nuske is still kicking it cold live down in Australia, filming and feeling good. He is about to go on a little skate trip with some of his homies and clock some footy along the way.

If you didn’t have the chance to check out little Nyjah Huston skating in X Games 12, check it out on ESPN. Ny is now back home up in Davis, California, skating around with his brother and dad.

Bobby Worrest is the proud owner of a new single speed track bike and has been spotted learning how to skid around DC–when he’s not trying to find a cool day to skate in the bad East Cost heat wave.

Silas Baxter-Neal just recently spent some time in Los Angeles with éS filmer Scuba Steve before heading out to Japan to visit his lady. Silas also stopped by the éS offices to work on his new team page and bag some goodies. Speaking of Scuba, he has recently (1) grown a beard, and (2) celebrated a birthday.
