2007 Volcom Damn Am: Day One
Today kicked off the annual Damn Am at Volcom, held in the temporary street course that is blocking most of our office's parking lot and making life hard for the 250+ employees. Add 200+ skaters, their parents, team managers, a bunch of pros, photographers and skate groupies and that makes for a very packed environment. There were hundreds of kids that were skating first thing this morning, and by 11 am the first heat had started.
Volcom is going to be broadcasting a live webcast on Sunday for the semis, final and best trick - until then they'll be updating the site everyday with photos and a short daily video recap of the day's action. You can also click on over to Damnam.com for the heats schedules, results and more photos from Rob Meronek.
If you are in the area, come on down and check out all the action in person. There's free food, prizes, and plenty of action on the street course.
