Quiksilver Hits The Road With Team-Rider Tony Hawk For The 2008 Boom Boom Huckjam
Huntington Beach, Ca - Quiksilver joins up with team-rider, legendary skateboarder and HuckJam ringmaster, Tony Hawk, for the coast-to-coast road show of the summer, running July through August: the 2008 Tony Hawk Boom Boom HuckJam Tour presented by T-Mobile Sidekick.
Expected to be the biggest and most outrageous HuckJam show to date, the 2008 tour will span over 38 days with 24 events in 18 different states. The extravaganza will bring together the best skateboarders, BMX riders and freestyle moto-x maniacs with video turntablist Mike Relm providing the music and video for an incredible display of action sports. This year's tour will once again be emceed by the popular Jason Ellis.
The festivities will also include an all-new Activision and Quiksilver gaming zone. This dedicated space will be stationed in front of the Quiksilver RV, where event attendees can play Tony Hawk's Proving Ground and Guitar Hero on Xbox 360. Also new for 2008, Boom Boom HuckJam presenting sponsor T-Mobile will give attendees a first look at the much anticipated Tony Hawk Limited Edition T-Mobile Sidekick.
