2009 Wendy's Invitational: Vert Report

PLG dominated the 2nd stop of the Dew Tour in Portland, Oregon. Andy Mac comes in second and Sandro Dias high flies it into 3rd

- The 10 finalist were determined by a elimination round on Thursday that whittled the field down to 7 riders that met the top 3 finalist from the first stop in Boston (Bucky, Andy Mac, PLG)

-The format for the finals was 10 riders, three runs each, 45 seconds a run

-Every rider except PLG fell in the first round

-All the younger guys, Alex Perelson, Rob Loriface and Adam Taylor look stronger and stronger each event

-Bob and Sandro Dias tied for 3rd. They break the tie by adding the 2 scores, dividing by the distance to Jupiter and multiplying by the next lowest score. Sandro’s highflying high sped run, included a gnar jar got him 3rd. Bob’s run, half amazing, half amazing and switch got him fourth

- 720’s who’s got em? PLG and Andy did 7’s and 1st and 2nd
