Arto Saari was born November 9,1981 in Seinajoki, Finland. Saari, now sleep, breath, and skates in Huntington Beach, CA. His skate stance is regular, though you might see him ripping it goofy alot of the time. Back in 2001, Thrasher magazine selected him as Skater of the Year. He's a machine, taking serious injuries left and right. Filming for the Flip video "Sorry", Saari almost died from a head injury, just warming up with a back feeble on a handrail. In 2004 he was voted as one of the 100 Greatest Finns, by Finnish skaters. His sponsors include, or included Alien Workshop, Gravis Footwear, Analog Clothing, Ricta Wheels, CCS, and Destructo Trucks. Arto has also had characters in a bunch of video games including, Evolution Skateboarding, Tony Hawk's Underground and Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.
