CLEVELAND, Ohio - Damn, no ams. Just staright pros skated in the Dew Tour Right Guard Open Skate Finals. It was seriously some of the best skateboarding to hit the Cleveland area, maybe ever. The course was beastly big and the skaters all made it look actually skate able, but little does the viewer know these bank ramps, rails and transitions are huge.
The stands for viewing began filling up quick, but everyone managed to find a good viewing location. It was a little bit madness in the stands at first but everyone settled just in time for the final action. The skaters were warming up and by the looks of it they were all heated up. The brazilian skaters were all throwing down so hard. Two of them, Rodolfo Ramos and Carlos De Andrade ended up on the podium, in 2nd and 3rd place. Rodolfo Ramos puts everything down with authority and you can hear him land his tricks from 50 yards away with loud music playing. Austen Seaholm was stoked in first place after heat one. His runs were super tight, technical, solid and included a one wheeled nose manual. Austen is a serious bad ass. Speaking of Badass, Ryan Sheckler won the entire event. He deserved every bit of it because during his run he was doing huge tucknee indies into a monster backside 360 ollie up this huge gap, ollie back down so smooth. That is just a highlight but his runs were definitely bad ass. Mike Peterson put together smooth fast runs on the tranny and landed in sixth place. Kurtis Colamonico is all tattooed up and is an insane street skater. Check out his photo below.
The final heat was two jam format sessions with the top 6 skaters battling it out for the number one spot. These jams were action packed and all the skaters threw down some serious tricks. Sheckler did a sick kickflip to frontside boardslide and stomped a 360 flip down a ten foot bank to flat. That was so tight that Kurtis Colamonico decided to see what it felt like. He stomped his too. Rodolfo's energy really came out and shined in the jam. When he gets heated he gets hot and started hitting crazy tricks with mad pop and dope style.
This event was so awesome. A recommendation from us is go check out the Dew Tour when it comes to your town. They will be in Portland on August 16-19, Salt Lake City on September 20-23, and in Orlando on Oct 18-21. Seriously its a good show.

Ryan Sheckler with a sick backside 360 up this gap. How insane is this? It is very sick.
Jereme Rogers, not watching himself up there on the big screen. He is a really solid skater, check this nose grind.
Rodolfo Ramos from Brazil landed in 2nd place. Check this frontside 360 ollie it was tight and full of energy.
Austen Seaholm came out from the shadows and stood in second place before the jam session. Check this photo, 360 flip, took one foot off, planted it on the bank ramp and rode away clean.
Jason Barr had a good showing out here in Cleveland. Fifty fifty on a big ledge.
Yeah, Kurtis Colamonico has dope style. 360 flip up the gap.
Rodolfo Ramos airing huge.
Sheckler looking at that gap above. He didn't give it to much thought and stomped it every time. This kid has dope style.
