Heath Kirchart has been searching high and low throughout Southern California for spots to destroy in his part in the upcoming Alien Workshop video, Mind Field. Check the teaser.
Ed Templeton is hanging around Huntington Beach, skating the park and working on his art. Ever wondered what Ed would look like with a moustache? Wonder no more.
Leo Romero has been doing a bit of house hunting around the Long Beach area. I think he snagged himself a keeper. He is growing up these days, becoming a homeowner and all. What’s next for Leo, you might ask? Wife? 2.5 kids? Yeah, right--it’s party time all the time for Leo.
Kevin “Spanky” Long and Braydon Szafranski are out in New York for Halloween. We're not sure what they are dressing up as, but those guys always come up with some amazing costumes. They are in New York for Neck Face’s Closed Casket art show.
Bryan Herman has been out skating the Los Angeles area with Baker filmer Beagle. All 32,000 of you kids so far who have signed up to receive the Emerica Disinformation Newsletter already got to see Herman completely destroy the Skatepark of Tampa during our Emerica demo there a little while back. For those of you who have not signed up, what’s the deal? Ah, well. You’ll get to see the clip on the site soon enough anyway.
Jerry Hsu is rehabbing his ankle after having surgery a little while back. He will be back on board by January. In the meantime, Jerry’s been doing a lot of thrift store shopping, coffee drinking, cigarette smoking and catching insects with his bioluminescent, proboscis-like tongue.
Aaron Suski is at home in Tucson with his girlfriend, waiting for his baby girl to be born any day now. Suski has some sweet photos in the new KOTR issue of Thrasher--including one of the sickest nosepicks ever!
Chris Senn has been spotted around the Southern California area a little more frequently lately. Maybe he was getting cabin fever after living in Hawaii so long.
Modern day hobo Brandon Westgate is riding the rails out to the Make-A-Wish Skate Jam in Houston this weekend with the Zoo York team. After that, he will pack up his sack and head to Los Angeles to film with Emerica filmer Jon Miner for the week. Brandon will be at the Emerica demo at Pharmacy Lancaster on November 10. He also has a bunch of sick photos in the KOTR issue of Thrasher.
Marquis Preston just returned home from a filming trip out to Denver. He is lurking up in Palmdale, playing video games and hanging out at Pharmacy Boardshop.

Heath Kirchart’s part for the upcoming Alien Workshop video is getting closer and closer to completion. He has been filming around Los Angeles and is getting ready to take off to Des Moines, Iowa next week to handle some biz at his shop, Subsect.
Ed Templeton is enjoying some time at home in Huntington Beach, California after a busy Summer travel schedule. In case you don’t already keep up with Ed’s blog on the Toy Machine site, give it a scroll.
Kevin Long has been kicking it out in New York the past week. He is still benched from his knee injury, but he is doing the physical therapy and hopes to be back on board soon.
Bryan Herman was out at the ASR trade show last weekend, flossin’ samples of his new Emerica shoe, the B.Herman 2. Although Bryan has unbelievable flatground talent, he was taken out early in the éS Game of SKATE by Javier Sarmiento. Herman has been out filming for his part for the upcoming Emerica video and chillin’ at the Baker apartment.
Leo Romero has hardly been home this Summer. Between RVCA tours and Emerica’s Wild Ride, he has been staying pretty busy. Leo returned home this week from a RVCA tour in Russia and is looking forward to sleeping in his own bed.
Jerry Hsu is recovering from an ankle surgery that he had a couple of weeks ago. He injured his ankle earlier in the year and was hoping it would just get better. Unfortunately, it didn’t, so Jerry went under the knife. Everything went good with surgery and Jerry should be back on the streets killing it in a few months.
Braydon Szafranski is going to be in the Northwest this weekend on an Ambiguous tour.
Aaron Suski and Brandon Westgate are probably sleeping off Thrasher's King of the Road Tour at the moment. They finished up the hell ride this past weekend, where they were racking up points for the Zoo York team. Unfortunately, they didn’t rack up enough, as they ended up in last place. Oh well, they had fun anyway. Oh yeah, check out this funny photo of Westgate and Suski clowning around for some wacky King of the Road stunt!
Chris Senn has been hangin’ loose at home in Hawaii. Senn Dog is heading to his old stomping grounds in San Francisco next week to bomb some hills and shred through the city.
Marquis Preston has been doing a lot of filming with Jon Miner lately. Between Palmdale and Los Angeles, he has been nailing a bunch of amazing footage. Marquis has also been cruising down to Emerica headquarters to hang out and give a little input on Emerica Gear. Look out for some Marquis-inspired threads in the near future.

There’s a lot going on this weekend for the Emerica team riders. On Saturday, July 28 at 1:00 p.m. Andrew Reynolds, Heath Kirchart, Jerry Hsu, Kevin "Spanky" Long, Austin Stephens and Marquis Preston will be doing a demo at Utility Boardshop in La Verne, California. On Sunday, July 29 at 3:00 p.m. Andrew, Braydon, Spanky and most of the Baker team will be cruising down to Sun Diego in El Cajon, California for another demo.
Andrew Reynolds has been skating around Los Angeles this week and breaking in the new house. You may have seen him at Home Depot or Bed, Bath and Beyond, but I’m not sure if he had enough time.
Heath Kirchart kept it real last week when, instead of leaving the Alien Workshop filming trip to Oregon early by plane, he opted to take the Greyhound home to save a few bucks. Heath said it was a complete nightmare and that he would never do it again. He seriously almost went crazy. I guess a 24-hour bus ride sitting next to some freaks will do that to you. Heath is back home in Los Angeles, skating and working on his motorcycle.
Ed Templeton, Leo Romero and Austin Stephens just returned home from the RVCA Canada Tour. You can check out the RVCA blog to see photos from the trip. Ed and Austin are only home for a few days and then head out to Europe this weekend for a Toy Machine tour. Leo will also be going back out on the road with RVCA for the Rockies Tour.

Seems that Heath Kirchart couldn’t get enough of the great Northwest. Not even a week after returning home from the Wild Ride, he headed right back up to Oregon to skate some spots that he liked with Alien Workshop filmer Greg Hunt. In case you didn’t see it yet, Heath has a new shoe out called the Kirchart SDK and various items of signature Gear from Emerica. Check it out!

Kevin “Spanky” Long was supposed to be in Canada with RVCA, but his knee has been giving him some trouble, so he’s opted to stay home and start a physical therapy regimen.

Jerry Hsu drove down to Los Angeles this week from San Jose to hang with his bros. He came down to Emerica headquarters on Monday to put some finishing touches on his upcoming pro shoe and Gear that he has been working on. The stuff is looking sick! You’ll be able to get your hands on it in late Spring 2008.
Aaron Suski took a weekend trip to San Diego with his girlfriend to beat the heat in Tucson. Suski went to Sea World for the first time and was psyched! He’s thinking of a future career as a dolphin trainer. Suski is back in Tucson for a little bit and will be heading to upstate New York in a couple of weeks for some Zoo York demos. Chris Senn was in Honolulu last week with some of his Element teammates for the Grand Opening of an Element store in Waikiki. Chris is about to jet set out to Rotterdam, Holland for the WSR contest.
Brandon Westgate has been enjoying time at home in Massachusetts after traveling for almost a month on the new Harley-Davidson Nightster that he bought for the Wild Ride. Brandon will be cruising out to upstate New York with Suski and the rest of the Zoo York team for some demos on July 28 and 29.
Marquis Preston has been lurking up in Palmdale, California with his homies over the past week. He will be heading up to San Jose with Jerry Hsu and Jon Miner later this week to film for Stay Gold.

Heath Kirchart recently shot photos for an upcoming CCS catalog. He also nailed a trick at a spot where you have to be towed to get enough speed. Heath is gearing up for Heath’s Harley Tour, which starts next week. It’s a motorcycle trip from Los Angeles to Portland, where the Emerica Wild Ride is starting.
Ed Templeton and Austin Stephens are on the road with Toy Machine for their Lurk Fest Tour. Check out their site for all the details. Ed and Emerica also just released a new book of photography from last year’s Wild Ride trip called Nobody Living Can Ever Make Me Turn Back. Look for it at a skate shop near you.
Kevin “Spanky” Long and Jerry Hsu decided to take a little vacation to Barcelona after the Emerica Terreur Tour ended. The bros will return home by this Thursday, just in time for the TransWorld Awards. Jerry has been nominated for Best Street Skater, Best Video Part and Reader’s Choice. Vote for Jerry!
Bryan Herman just inked the lease for the Baker apartment in Hollywood. Herman will be living double lives in both Victorville, where he owns a home, and Hollywood. Bryan has been skating around Los Angeles with Beagle and the bros.

He started off on the Emerica Terreur Tour, then left early for New York, where Zoo York rented an apartment for a month to film for their upcoming video. Suski also got some time to go see his family in Cuttybackville in upstate New York. Check him out on the cover of issue 40 of The Skateboard Mag, in which he also has a sweet interview. Suski rips!

Braydon Szafranski just picked up his brand-new Harley-Davidson Wide Glide at Bartel's Harley-Davidson in Marina Del Rey for this year’s Wild Ride. He’s been riding it all around Los Angeles and breaking it in. Braydon was killing it out in France, getting a bunch of footage and having a good time, as always.
Brandon Westgate was over in France with Emerica for the first part of the Terreur Tour and killed it. He then flew to New York to film with the Zoo York crew. He’s up in Portland, Oregon now, filming with Volcom.
Marquis Preston also spent the whole month in France with Emerica. He ripped hard the whole trip--even after jacking his heel in Paris. For those who haven’t seen Marquis skate, watch out for his part in the upcoming Emerica video. He has one of the most unique styles in skateboarding.
