Los Angeles, CA - FUEL TV, the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports, is proud to announce the new season of “Firsthand” premiering on Sunday, December 28, beginning at 8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT. The thirteen-episode series gives an up-close and personal look into the daily lives of the world’s top action sports athletes such as X Games gold medalist and three-time Dew Tour Champion BMX Pro Daniel Dhers, Olympic Silver Medalist snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler, and World Record holder FMX Pro Robbie Maddison.
“Firsthand” provides a unique and exclusive perspective to these action sports personalities as they comb the globe for the perfect wave, a new skate park, or untracked powder. Experience their favorite local haunts and discover how they live off-board or off-bike.

Join pro surfer and environmentalist James Pribram on his “Firsthand” as he travels to the unexpected surfing location of the Great Lakes and then to Peru where he takes a look at major threats to the surfing community. Also, watch pro snowboarder Josh Dirksen as he heads to his home-away-from-home in Switzerland for a summer vacation, then embarks to the North Island of New Zealand for some summer snowboarding. On Daniel Dhers’ episode of “Firsthand,” he travels back to his home in Venezuela, showing the roots of his BMX origins--sketchy ramps and sketchier locations. Then, track him as he flies to Joplin, Missouri and hits up one of the best skate parks in the world.
Original episodes premiere Sunday nights at 8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT and re-air several times throughout the week. They will also be available for download from iTunes, and can be watched on hulu.com.
