-At the end of the hallway, dreams are being built.

In Jamestown, New York a dream is coming true.  As the seasons begin to change an snow begins to cover some of the leaves that have already fallen, the skate scene would normally be getting ready to begin hibernating for the winter.  But not this year.  Jamestown is being blessed with an indoor skatepark and building has already begun.  Last night some of the crew from Suburban Blend Skateshop, and Skateboardrev.com teamed up to begin construction on what will be the skateboard section.  Construction of the main area which features two fly box lines, a very wide six foot quarter pipe and a very wide ten foot quarter pipe has been built by the fellows at Trubmx.com.

-This is what the guys at Trubmx.com have done, it's sick

It is not often that you see skateboarders and bmxers coming together to build, but in Jamestown things are different.  The idea for an indoor park has been around as long as skateboarding in Jamestown, but for the folks at Community Helping Hands in the recently acquired Gateway Center, talk was just talk, and it was time to take action.  The best part about the park for the skate scene is skateboarders are building and designing the entire skate course.  The crew who showed up to work last night consisted of Pete Schiera(co-owner of Suburban Blend), Ryan Peterson, Zack Wells, BIlly Cooley, Brandon Moore, Myself(Steven Skrzypek),  later on John and Ed (who run skateboardrev.com) showed up to help.  Anyways, here are the photo's from our first night building.
