Torrance, CA – IPATH Footwear, Inc., announced the hiring of Marketing Director Tim Swart, to help continue IPATH’s success in the footwear and apparel categories. Beginning immediately, Swart will work with IPATH to help maintain and strengthen the brand’s presence through new and existing marketing channels.
The pairing of IPATH and Swart is a natural fit. IPATH has been a one of a kind brand since its inception. The original skateboard footwear/lifestyle brand to employ sustainable and environmentally friendly materials, IPATH is a clear divergence from the over-tech look of many of its competitors. The IPath brand mantra “Follow Your Path,” encourages individuality and the spirit of do-it-yourself expression.
Swart brings to IPath a successful 15-year history in developing, marketing and managing successful brands in the action sports industry. He founded Clive bags in the late 90’s and has worked in marketing/managerial roles for many industry mainstays including Airwalk, Spy and Zoo York. Swart is also co-founder of UNIV, a collection of concept shops featuring uniquely selected merchandise in Encinitas, CA and Miami.
