Hometown Heros Skate Tour 06. Contests and street skating for the love of it! Every town has that handful of kids that are Hometown Heroes. This tour gives them a chance to showcase their skills and be recognized nationally. (24 contests in 24 cities) The tour stopped off in Kettering Ohio at the DC skate plaza on August 20^th.  This is where Josh Schmalstig was able to show that he was the champ of the event and now he is off to Lake Forrest California to compete in the GVR etnies contest on October 20.
