Quiksilver skate team rider Tony Hawk put on one the most amazing demos in history on Saturday night in Hossegor, France. An estimated 10,000 people packed the beach town’s main square overlooking the ocean a few hours after the end of the first day of surfing at the Quiksilver Pro France. People were packed onto rooftops, into alleyways on top of shoulders and anywhere they could find to see the world’s most legendary skater and an all star crew including Andy McDonald, Sergie Ventura and Kevin Staab, put on a show on the massive half pipe. It was utter chaos and mayhem but everyone loved. it. Even Tony, who’s seen and done it all, commented that he’d never done a demo quite like this one. It was definitely a night to remember for all who were lucky enough to be there.
