Dear readers, friends, and fellow skateboarders, Recently in my hometown there was a tragedy. A good friend and former co-worker of mine had his life flipped upside down, shaken about, and is now picking up the pieces. In the early hours of September 21st his house caught fire with himself and his family inside. Only three of the five members of his family survived, his wife Jen, and oldest son Brodie needed hospitalization and Mike though hurt emotionally and mentally was alright physically. I call to you now for your help, for your prayers and for your participation. On Saturday October 4th, Skateboard-Revolution with help from Suburban Blend, and Bakwoods clothing/productions are invading the Clifstar Skatepark in Dunkirk, New York and having a skateboard contest with all money raised going to benefit the Mckinnon Family. So come out and throw-down for charity. There will be prizes for each division of skateboarding; Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Thank you for your time, and hope to see you there!
