PJ Hathaway Named CEO of Flexdex Skateboards

San Diego, CA  – PJ Hathaway has been named CEO of Flexdex Skateboards. PJ comes into Flexdex with over two decades of experience in the surf, skate and action sports industry. PJ worked with industry leaders including Rusty, Surfline, Thor MX, Scott USA, DSO Eyewear before founding and licensing PJ’s Surf International and Brotherhood Sports Management.

“I am stoked to have PJ join the team here and lead Flexdex as we grow.” says Elliott “Ebone” Rabin, founder and President.

PJ quips: “I remember riding Ebone’s first skateboards at the Clairemont Surf Christmas Party in ‘95. There is so much history supporting these boards. I’m stoked and honored to be a part of taking the brand into the future. Flexdex is a unique product in our industry. All you have to do is jump on one and you want one.”

Flexdex was in 1995 founded by Ebone and it quickly grew to one of the premier global longboard cruiser brands sponsoring world champion Kelly Slater, Kalani  Robb, Timmy Curran, Surf Diva and Robert “Wingnut” Weaver just to name a few. Flexdex is proud to announce the ENZO line of clear recyclable decks featuring Bobby Martinez and Carissa Moore models.

“Were looking forward to growing the brand domestically and internationally with our retail partners.”  said PJ, who has planning the company’s move into a larger facility as one of his first tasks.
