Quiksilver Skate Team Riders Tear Up America's Heartland One City At A Time
Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Quiksilver Skate Team will hit the road tomorrow for the Quiksilver Midwest Skate Tour, first stop Lexington, Kentucky. Alex Olson, Danny Garcia, Reese Forbes, Justin Brock, Jake Johnston, David Clark and Tim O'Connor will be blowing up demos, giving away free Quiksilver swag, racing go karts and BBQ'ing with the fine folks in the Midwest.
Visiting some of the best skateparks in America's Heartland, the good ol' boys will make stops in Lexington, Columbus, Detroit and Chicago. On June 21, Go Skate Day, the Quiksilver team will be at Woodland Skatepark for Cosmic Invasion 2008 presented by Quiksilver. June 22, the guys take over Powell Skatepark near Columbus where they will demo tricks and give away free stuff. The Midwest tour continues on June 23 at the new Modern Skatepark near Detroit. June 24 is the final day and will be held at Wilson Skatepark in the city of Chicago.
