Transworld hires Adam Sullivan and promotes Jamey Stone
Transworld Media, a division of Bonnier Corporation, is pleased to welcome back Adam Sullivan who has been hired as Senior Skateboarding Editor for TransWorld Business and is also pleased to announce that Jamey Stone has been promoted to Associate Publisher for TransWorld SKATEboarding.
Adam returns to TransWorld after a year-long stint as Editor in Chief of Skateboarder Magazine. Prior to working at Skateboarder, Adam spent two years working as the Skate Editor at Future Action Sports, heading-up both the Buyer’s Guide and Skateboard Trade News business magazine. Sullivan got his start in publishing when he worked as Editor of TransWorld Skateboarding Business from 2001 to 2004.
"Bringing Adam on board is a huge step forward for TransWorld Business,” says Rob Campbell, Publisher of TransWorld Business. “Having worked with Adam before, I knew he was the perfect fit for the direction we want to take the publication. His skills as a writer, editor and skater send a strong message to the industry that we’re dedicated to having experienced and respected journalists in our top editorial positions."
Jamey Stone joined TransWorld Media in 1998 as a sales associate for TransWorld SNOWboarding, but when his passion for skateboarding was brought to light, he quickly stepped into the same position for TransWorld SKATEboarding. Since that position, Jamey has grown through the TransWorld SKATEboarding ranks—first becoming Sales Manager and now moving into the Associate Publisher position.
“Jamey Stone becoming the Associate Publisher of TransWorld SKATEboarding is by far the most deserved promotion in our industry. Period,” continued Liam. “Jamey has TransWorld SKATEboarding platelets in his blood and has done a tremendous job managing the title.”
