How often do you find yourself skating? Skateboarding for me is a 24/7 relationship. Whether on my board or not, in a sense I'm always skating. I live and breathe it. It's been that way since I was fourteen and will be that way until I die.

Could you describe a day in your life? A typical week day at home right now is something like this: Up at 6, drive the kids to school, work out, handle communications of all sorts whether emails, press, meetings or phone calls. Pick the kids up from school, get the kids to dance or other activities they are involved in. Dinner with the family. Go skating, band practice, go to a hockey game or play hockey, sleep.
What was the hardest trick for you to ever learn and why? Never really experienced skating with that type of attitude. I just skate. If I land something cool, if I don't, oh well.
How many tattoos do you have and do they mean anything? Haven't counted. They're basically just decoration, very vain.

What is skateboarding to you? Fun and expression.
Where would you like to be in the next year? Watch me.
Do you like the way things are going with your website? I've had a website since '97. I think the latest incarnation is the best to date. I'm trying to phase out of the social networking sites and make my website once again the place to visit online for all things Mike V.
